Description
The GoldScreenSensor measures conductivity by inductive eddy current and compares the result with reference ranges for precious metals and common counterfeit materials. It is optimized for coins from about 1/4 ounce and bars up to roughly 2 ounces, depending on material and geometry.
Best for
Bullion coins and compact bars in capsules, foils or blisters
Measurement method
Inductive eddy-current conductivity measurement
Important limitation
Object size, thickness, alloy and geometry determine whether the sensor can penetrate deeply enough. Always combine the result with weight and dimensions.
Highlights
- Measures through foils, capsules and blister packs
- Screens tungsten, brass and other typical counterfeits
- Suitable for gold, silver, platinum and palladium
- Fast, mobile and intuitive result display
Scope of delivery
- GoldScreenSensor
- Copper calibration reference
- USB charger
- Padded carrying case
- Detailed instruction manual
- Quick guide
