Description

BarScreenSensor sends an ultrasonic pulse through the object and evaluates the return time. With a known thickness or sound velocity, the device calculates the corresponding material value. It is especially relevant for unpackaged bars from roughly 100 grams upward.

Important limitation

The probe requires direct contact with an unpackaged, sufficiently flat surface and coupling gel. Correct dimensions and trained interpretation remain essential.
